Why a lunch trailer
Packing a lunch every morning is one more thing in a week that is already full. Lunch Bus takes two of those mornings off your hands with food that gets eaten instead of traded away.
Add two or three sentences here about your cooking background and how you came to Holy Trinity. Specific beats polished. A parent volunteer who cooked for the parish festival for six years is a stronger credential than any adjective.
How we cook
Cooked on campus, not reheated
Nothing is made the day before. We pull onto campus before lunch and cook in the trailer, so meals go out within minutes of coming off the heat rather than sitting in a warmer for hours.
The early price is the real price
Pre-order before the monthly deadline and every meal is eight dollars. Order after it and a meal is ten. The difference covers a second shopping trip and a smaller prep run, and it is the only pricing rule we have. There is no membership, no minimum and no charge for leaving something off a plate.
Kid-first, not kid-only
Every meal is built around something a child will recognise and eat, with a vegetable and fresh fruit alongside rather than hidden inside it. Portions suit a younger student, and a double portion is available for older ones.
Straight answers about allergens
Each meal is labelled with the allergens it contains. The trailer is a shared kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, soy and egg, so we do not claim any meal is free of cross contact. If your child has a severe allergy, email before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve them safely.
Licensing and safety
List your El Dorado County health permit number, your food handler or manager certification, and your liability insurance carrier. Put the permit number in plain text where a parent can see it. This is the single strongest trust signal on a food website and most new vendors leave it off.
Our part in the school
Lunch Bus operates with the knowledge of the school office and serves on the campus during the regular lunch period. We are a family business, not a school program, and the school does not handle payment or refunds. Anything about an order comes to us directly.
